20 years already!

I joined the military for 14 yrs. Army/Navy. Deployed most of my early life. In corrections for about 5 yrs and now living in Sacramento. I enjoyed most of my last 20 yrs. Seen many parts of the world. I am now returning to running like I used to be at Hoover. I miss that competitive edge and plus I need to lose weight. So that's how the dice have been Rollin for me.

Hey there! Here's a quick update on my life. I recently married Carrie Dalton (Hoover Class of 1990). Together we have 5 kids - ages 10, 9, 8, 7 and 5. I am the GM for Grand Occasions Catering & Banquets and Carrie works as a legal secretary at a law firm here in town. Between working full time and the 5 kids - we are always on the go with baseball, softball and soccer practices and games. I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion and catching up. All of us on the reunion planning committee think it is going to be a great time.

I graduated with a degree in accounting and I am a CPA. I worked in the entertainment industry for ten years in business management and audit with various eclectic clients. I left the business in 2003 and joined Morgan Stanley in Beverly Hills to work with my husband and father-in-law as a financial planner in which I completed my coursework at UCLA and am in the process of obtaining the CFP certification. I met my husband at CAL Poly SLO, trading in a volleyballer for a surfer and we have been married for nine years. We just bought a house in Playa Del Rey and I am pregnant with our first child (due on Labor Day ha, ha) and I am hoping I will be able to come to the reunion at least for a little bit. I still play volleyball, primarily beach and I have randomly ran into quite a bit of Hoover people down here in smog LA including a Hollywood sports bar that supports the Fresno Bulldogs. Anyway, looking forward to seeing everyone!

I am very excited to see everyone in September.

Hey everyone! I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion! I've been married for 19 years to a great guy named Mike, and we have two beautiful kids! Austin is 12 and just started the 7th grade and Madison is 9 and just started the 4th grade. Sadly enough, they will end up going to our rival highschool....Bullard! Between Austin's football and Maddy's soccer, my weekends are pretty full until November! I work for UBS Financial Services in Fresno as the Operations Manager where I handle risk and legal items. When we're not running around with the kids, we play alot of poker and enjoy watching UFC and football and taking long rides our Harley! It's been great reading everyone's bio's and seeing how much (or how little) some people have changed!!! 20 years blew by so fast! Keep in touch and I'll see you at the reunion!

Life is good.

Hard to believe it has been 20 years. Of course my 17 year old son makes it hard to ignore. I am looking forward to the reunion and seeing everyone. I became a teacher, which didn't seem to surprise anyone. I had a great time at the 10 year reunion and plan on having even more fun this time. I have been married to the most wonderful man in the world for about a year and a half. Through him I have another great son who is 19. We live in Tulare and are one big happy blended family!

I would of loved to come this year to the reunion, however I was planning a trip out to California for next year (thinking that the class of 1989's 20th would be next year). It is fun to see so many on this site, it's fun to read. My husband Andy and I live in Michigan, we have three children, Joshua 11, Rachel, 8 and Lauren 7. We have lived in Michigan since 1997. My husband and I have been married since Sept. of 1989, so I was a young bride. We have made a very nice life in the mid-west, love the fall, put up with the snow. We have our own business called Forester Senior Moving and Estate Services, helping senior's transition from their home's to retirment and assisted living communities. My husband also works for Hospice of Michigan and I am in school (again) to become and R.N. We get out to California every few years. My son loves to keep track of the Bulldogs as he thinks he might come back to Fresno and play for Fresno State. Would love to hear from old friends, please e-mail me and we can catch up. God bless!

I missed the 10 year and, I will miss the reunion this year. Too expensive and quick a trip right at the moment my dissertation research takes off at Teachers College, Columbia University. Yes - I am forever a student.

I would love to see everyone at the reunion...still trying to coordinate time off of work to attend. I've enjoyed seeing everyones pix and bios..time has treated everyone kindly..you all look great! I graduated from Fresno State with my BSN in 1995. I was initially at Fresno Community Medical Center for 13 years and then moved on to the Fresno Heart Hospital and Kaiser..I love the work that I do! I met my wonderful husband during my senior year nursing focus in the emergency rooom downtonw. We've been together for 13 years and have 2 great kids, Savannah (8) and Sam (5). I met up with my best friend Shannon Kelly a couple of years ago...she was doing great the last I heard and living in Canada. Who posted the picture of Dana, Sannon and me??..it seems like so long ago...

I have been working for London Properties since 2000 and have two children. My daughter just turned 16 years and my son is 14.

I really can't believe it's been 20 years! It seems like yesterday when I was eating pizza pockets on the bench by the quad with Joanne, Chris, and Melissa. Well, over the past 20 years I managed to work, go to college, get married, have a baby, go to college, work, and FINALLY graduate from nursing school and become a registered nurse, in 1998. I spent 15 years working in the emergency department at VMC/UMC, first as a CNA and ultimately as an RN. I worked as a transplant coordinator with the Donor Network for 3 years, and am currently working in an outpatient imaging center. Not the most challenging job, but no nights or 12 hour shifts! I met my husband working in the ED at UMC in 1990, got married in 1992 and was blessed with my wonderful son, Connor, in January 1995. I'm approaching my 16th wedding anniversary in November and am living the blissful domestic life in the Madera Ranchos with our 5 dogs and 2 cats. My son is active in sports and unfortunately, the reunion conflicts with his football game Saturday night. If something materializes for Friday night, I would love to attend.
