For the past 14 years or so I have been a stay-at-home mom, raising our six beautiful children, working on an art degree, now, at BYU. I just finished illustrating my first book (See phonicsbyspelling.com). In the meantime, I have recently gone back to work where I am the marketing coordinator for our local cable channel. I also work as a news anchor on our local news program. I have a lot of fun doing it and have met so many amazing people. In May 2008, my husband and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary. It's amazing-- I'm amazed how quickly the time has flown by.

I caught the facebook bug. That takes up more time than I have!
People have been asking me how I do it with 6 children, most days I fall into bed exhausted. It has been a blessing to be a stay-at-home-mom and only since number six went to preschool that I started working while she was gone. I love my job away from my home, it is fun to be in front of a camera, and to assist people with their advertising in our community. I am fortunate to work mostly from home, and then go to the tv station to do tapings. I love being a mom even more, even though the job is far more difficult.
