For six years now I've been living in Charleston, South Carolina and teaching English (kind of a surprising career choice because I barely took any English classes at Hoover) at The Citadel: The Military College of South Carolina, which is a hilarious place to work. (I know, "hilarious" and "military college" aren't words that usually go together, but if you keep 2,000 cadets locked up on campus all week long, comedy is bound to happen.) Life is good, I love my job here, and Charleston is a great place to live. I didn't make it to the ten-year reunion (I was living in Nashville, Tennessee and going to grad school at the time, which meant I was beyond broke), and unfortunately I won't be coming to this one either.
